Low Testosterone (Low T)
Less energy, lower drive, and changes in libido or strength that keep adding up.
Low testosterone rarely shows up as one obvious symptom. It is usually a handful of changes that build slowly, like lower energy, a softer middle, less interest in sex, and a shorter fuse, until you realize you haven't felt like yourself in a while.
What low testosterone can feel like
- Running out of energy by mid-afternoon, even after decent sleep
- Lower drive, both at work and in the gym
- Changes in libido or erections
- Losing muscle or strength while belly weight creeps up
- Brain fog, irritability, or a flatter mood
What it may mean
Testosterone naturally declines with age, and some men drop lower or faster than others. Sleep, weight, stress, medications, and other health conditions can play a part too. Testing usually starts with total and free testosterone drawn in the morning, read alongside your symptoms rather than on their own.

How is low testosterone checked?
With a blood test, usually total and free testosterone drawn in the morning, often repeated to confirm. Your provider may add other labs depending on your history. Results are read together with your symptoms, not as one number on its own.
My labs were normal. Could it still be low T?
Reference ranges are broad, and how you feel matters. A provider who reviews your symptoms and your full lab picture together can help you understand whether hormones are part of it or whether something else is more likely.
Does treatment affect fertility?
Testosterone therapy can lower sperm production. If having children is part of your plans, tell your provider up front so it's part of the conversation from the start.
What does the $199 monthly membership include?
It's for injectable testosterone only and includes all office visits with the nurse practitioner, patient-specific injectable testosterone for home use, injection supplies, and a weekly vitamin B12 injection. Lab work, in-office procedures, and other prescriptions are billed separately.
